Pvt Ltd presents Deepak Pandit’s “Miracle”, collections of melodious compositions rendered beautifully by the popular composer Deepak Pandit as a mark to show obeisance to his ancestors who taught him that singing is form of expression … an expression of Freedom.

Deepak Pandit thus celebrates Jagjitji’s 71st birthday with the launch of his audio cassette “Miracle” 8th February at 7 pm at Orchid Hotel, Vile Parle (East).

Deepak Pandit is an accomplished violinist and has played violin at well attended concerts for Anup Jalota, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Ghulam Ali, Lata Mangeshkar and many other music maestros. Also a sought after arranger and composer, Deepak Pandit was very close to his guide and mentor Ghazal Samrat Jagjit Singhji.

Deepak Pandit, as a playback singer debuted with Shreya Ghosal and also composed music for the film “Yeh Faasle”. He has also composed music for ‘The Great Indian Butterfly’, ‘U Bomsi n me’ and ‘Dhoop’.

He has also given playback for “Cape Karma” and “The Web of the Witch” and of course the praise worthy “I am Kalam”. Besides, he has also given background score by playing violin for Mira Nair’s “Namesake” and the critically acclaimed “Matrubhoomi – A Nation without women”.

Also having composed Indi-pop “Classically Mild”, the audio cassette lives up to its name with vibrant tunes and eclectic mix of buoyant rhythms, a dash of jazz, a strumming of Hindustani and Carnatic music, sung brilliantly by Sonu Nigam, this audio cassette is an absolute joy to your musical ears.

The versatile Deepak Pandit can also be seen an ACP Rathod in the film “Halla Bol”.
